Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Association

CAMA is about communication, it is about change and recognition, it is about trust. We are starting anew and will be correcting the image and misconceptions regarding those that rely on all of us to carry them from destination to destination. Safety has always been our major thrust and this will be reviewed, renewed and reborn with our new mandates.

The aim of the Canadian Aircraft Maintenance Association (CAMA) is;

  • To promote and protect the interests of our membership, to elevate the moral, intellectual and - social conditions of all Aircraft Technicians and Airline Support personnel in the Aviation Community.
  • To encourage a higher standard of skill, to raise the standards, and increase the recognition of the Aircraft Technician and all skilled airline workers..
  • To assist and encourage those members who do not have appropriate licenses, to secure the same, through establishment of an educational branch of the association.

We consider all Aircraft Trade Technicians to be highly skilled and responsible individuals, with a public trust, and we shall continually strive for higher standards in aircraft maintenance, servicing, and handling in the interest of public safety and the industry.
